The multi-lane concrete boat ramp at the end of the Dennis Dyer Municipal Harbor in Port Aransas is wide with ample parking has a good grade for launching a variety of sizes of boats. It offers a multitude of services including short and long term boat slips, public restrooms and a fish cleaning station.
The ramp is well protected from wind and currents. It can be busy on weekends, particularly when fishing tournaments are being headquartered in the park pavilion. Even on busy weekends, in and out time is reasonable because of the the large concrete staging area in front of the 8 ramps.
