California is a very popular spot in the northern part of the Redfish Bay complex. It is 2 to 4 deep and covered with pot holes and good grass cover with shallow grass areas surrounding it. There are also several cuts and channels that lead in and out of it giving it good tide flow and escape route for the redfish, trout, drum, and flounder that stalk in it.
