South of Beacroft's Hole on the wider part of the same natural cut that runs along the King Ranch Shoreline is Emmord's Hole. Generally 3 to 4 feet deep it holds trout and redfish much of the year. Work through the deeper areas for trout and up the drop off toward the King Ranch for trout, black drum and redfish.
