At the northern end of Estes Flats in Redfish bay is Estes Cove. Generally hard to distinguish from the rest of the Estes Flats, the cove starts at the southern end of where Talley Island juts into the flats and lays between Talley Island and the Intracoastal Waterway. The grass and sand bottom and quick getaway through the channels at the north end of the cove and the Intracoastal make this a prime feeding area for trout, redfish and flounder.
