Redfish Cove is in the southwest corner of Redfish Bay. It is bordered by The United Channel to the north, Dagger Island to the south and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west. There is a deep cut that runs back into the cove from the southwest end of Dagger Island then wraps back to the north behind the island giving good access to the productive grass flats to the north of the island. Another deep cut just north of Dagger Island shortly before the United Channel give good access to the northern section of the flats. The deep water of Redfish Cove holds fish year round with trout holding to the deeper water and redfish working the grassy banks of the islands around the cove and potholes across the flats.
