Wilson's Cut is an old oilfield channel cut into the Corpus Christi Bay side of Mustang Island. It is a popular launch spot for kayak and small power boats. The cut opens up to Corpus Christi Bay just south of Shamrock Cove and just north of Boot Cove. Fishing the channel edges produce trout and redfish all year. Flounder can also be caught from May through October.
