The Nueces Bay Boat Ramp is located at the southern base of the US Hwy 181 Causeway that connects Portland and Corpus Christi. It is also known as Marinaville Boat Ramp named after the local baitstand.
This is the one of only a couple of public ramps that gives direct access to Nueces Bay and is also the best point to head to the northwestern part of Corpus Christi bay and the Portland shoreline. The boat ramp is a concrete ramp with limited dock space.
The ramp is in good repair with a good drop angle. There is an ample shell parking area. Be aware that while the ramp is free, parking is controlled by the owners of the bait stand and may require a parking fee.
