Corpus Christi is the cultural and population center of the Texas Coastal Bend. The shoreline of the city wraps around Corpus Christi Bay which gives ample shore fishing, boat docking and launching opportunities.
The city marina is located on 3 reclaimed pieces of land that jut into the bay and are protected by a lengthy granite jetty. These reclaimed strips are known locally as the T-Heads and the L-Head because of their shapes. The marina area offers long and short term boat slips, 2 yacht clubs, several restaurants and a well maintained boat ramp.
The waterfront curves from the west side of the bay on the northern end to the south side. It offers a variety of accommodations from high rise hotels downtown to small motels and cabanas down Shoreline Drive.
For out of town anglers that want to mix fishing, fine dining, lively night clubs or family amusement attractions, Corpus Christi offers a good central location to take everything in.
