Ingleside is surrounded by great fishing. The La Quinta ship channel acts like a superhighway for fish to travel to the coves around Ingleside and to the northern portion of Corpus Christi bay. A short run around the corner opens up the grass flats of the south end of redfish bay.
Despite its good access to great fishing, Ingleside often gets overlooked in favor of Rockport and Aransas Pass as a launching point. The lower traffic makes this area a favorite with many local anglers.
