The Crane Islands are located at the northwest corner of Kate's Hole and just south of Dead Man Hole. The grass and potholes around the island are excellent for redfish and speckled trout will move in and out from Kate's Hole . Getting to the Crane Islands is not easy but can be rewarding. Most anglers come by boat through Kate's Hole or fish by Kayak launching off Mustang Island.
