Ranch House Reef is a long series of shelll reefs at the mouth of Bray Cove along the southeastern shore of Mesquite Bay. Drifting in front of the reef and wading behind it into Bray Cove produces good catches of redfish, speckled trout and black drum. This area benefits from a direct tidal flow from Cedar Bayou when it is open.
