Rincon Bayou cuts back through the Nueces River Delta. This bayou is one of the deeper cuts that goes back into the delta and is one of the primary nourishment sources for a large portion of the Coastal Bend bay system. Fishing the shores and cuts around the mouth of Rincon Bayou give a very good opportunity to catch redfish. The reefs and shallow bay in front of the bayou is good for speckled trout, redfish and black drum waiting for the tide to turn and wash forage out of the delta.
Navigation up Rincon Bayou is possible but gets narrower and shallower as you move up the cut. Good catches of redfish are possible up the cut though as bait washes out of the various wetland cuts that feed it.
