The Super Flats are a large round flats area that stretch from the Lydia Ann Channel to the St Joseph Island shoreline just south of Mud Island. The large sand and grass mixed area holds large populations of game fish. Depending on the season, trout, redfish and flounder are all possible on these flats. The are a large number of cuts and washes that run back into the tidal lakes on the island that dump out onto the Super Flats, making this a staging area for fish that are coming and going from those areas.
