The Humble Channel is an old oilfield channel that runs south from the west end of the JFK Causeway through the northwest portion of the Upper Laguna Madre. The flats and pot holes on either side of it are productive of trout and redfish. It is also a main boat thoroughfare from the bait stands along the Causeway to fishing spots in the south.
