Rocky Slough is a deep cut in the western shoreline of the Upper Laguna Madre. Just north of the Land Cut, Rocky Slough is a popular early morning spot for fishing with top water lures for trout and redfish. Throughout the year, Rocky Slough holds good populations of trout and redfish. It is also a good flounder location later in the summer and fall.
