Rohoff's

Cut in the early 1970's as a source of water and an exit route for fish stuck in dropping tides in The Graveyard or Nine Mile Hole as it is known today, Rohoff's Channel connects the Intracoastal Waterway as it passes through the Land Cut, connecting the Upper Laguna Madre with the Lower Laguna Madre. Rohoff's Channel is primarily used as an access route to Nine Mile Hole, however, the drop off along its banks can be very good for flounder and many of the trophy reds and trout of Nine Mile Hole us it as a route into and out of the flats.
