The shallow flats just west of Cedar Bayou are excellent for redfish cruising the flats. The sandy and grassy areas make for good wading and drift fishing. These flats are an ambush area for bait fish working their way out of the bayou. Cedar Bayou Flats Mesquite Bay Rockport
