Just as implied by the name, Long Reef is a long shell reef that cuts across Aransas Bay from the Intracoastal Waterway almost all of the way to Big Island Point on St. Joseph Island. Because of it s extensive shell structure and quick access to deep water, Long Reef can be productive for trout year round.
