Northwest Shore - Mesquite Bay

The upper end of Bludworth Island forms the Northwest Shore of Mesquite Bay.  Stretching from the channel at the end of the island where most boaters leave the Intracoastal Waterway to enter Mesquite Bay down the shoreline to the start of North Cedar Bay, the bottom is good hard sand and grass bottom.  Access to deeper waters of the bay and tidal flows through the channel at the end of the item make this a good gathering area for speckled trout year round.  Fall migration of redfish is very good here as well.
