Named after an adult video store that moved into an old boat dealer and repair facility along Hwy 181 in Portland, Porno Flats is a shallow area with spotty grass in Nueces Bay. The video store is gone, but the name stuck. This is a popular area with kayakers and wade fisherman because of its easy access from the highway access road. Porno Flats gets good tidal flow from water forced through the point that separates Nueces Bay and Copano Bay. It holds a good population of speckled trout.
