Named after the small community and post office that was on the ranch just to the north of the point, Rosita Point offers an excellent coastline and series of sloughs for targeting redfish. The residents of Rosita moved away and the post office closed down in the early 1900's but the fishing off of Rosita Point remains excellent. The drop offs and deeper holes around the point hold speckled trout.
