This small and remote boat ramp is on the Mission River a few miles west of Mission Bay and Copano Bay. It is popular during winter months when trout stack up in the river and during windy days when running the protected waters is preferred over open bays. Up river from the launch site, anglers can target redfish, drum trout and as the water turns from brackish to fresh, black bass and catfish! It is a very unique fishery. Down river boaters have access to the oyster reefs and shoals of Mission bay.
