Portland is often overlooked as a fishing destination by visitors to the Texas Coastal Bend. The reality is that there is a lot of good fishing near Portland. Direct access to Nueces Bay and Northern Corpus Christi Bay offers good trout action and some world class redfish habitat just minutes from Portland. The city has a good variety of hotel rooms and plenty of restaurant options.
